It seems that comments have been disabled for Ali Rustam's blog. Now we know that his intention is to tell, pinpoint, and be heard rather than to listen to what the people have to say about his views. Some representitive we have, huh? Oh well. He has his freedom of speech on his blog, but in return, I think everyone else should be given the equal right to free speech. So practise it, people!
Or was it "please vote for me during the elections and I'm so sorry about what I said"? I don't know about the rest of Melaka, but there were 6 of these Chinese New Year greeting cards in the mailbox. So take the cost of each card (including the envelope, sticker and mailing costs), multiply it by the number of eligible Chinese voters in Melaka (assuming that he sent the cards to Chinese only), and you'd get... *drumrolls*... yet another huge waste of taxpayer's money. YAY! As if the mafia in navy blue and white weren't bad enough.
Thanks, but that's no way to spend our money. And that makes a lot of people want to vote against this kind of crap. Sincerity is out of the question because the cover featured all the developments in Melaka and the signature was mass-printed. Though I must admit, It's far more efficient than kissing babies...
*Edit* - Did I mention that these cards were sent AFTER Chinese New Year?
Or daylight robbers in shades, or taxpayers' money on big bikes, take your pick. "Saya tidak terima rasuah" my shiny ass. Those buttons should be pinned to their puny testicles for the sake of the country's future. I can't believe that these are the people who are supposed to be our protectors.
Celebrating 50 years of corruption and racism indeed. Mer-fuckin'-deka, peepz. Mer-fuckin'-deka...
PS: Nope, it wasn't me.

Fucking hell, today has got to be the shittiest day in Melaka this holiday. But right now, all I want to tell the world is that having a car and having a girlfriend can be strangely similar.
After sending my girlfriend home last night, my car's temperature rose and I could hear the water boiling. Great way to start a Christmas, huh? And because my girlfriend mentioned something about wanting to go out today to collect the jeans I paid a deposit for last weekend, I had to get my car repaired as soon as possible. And because it's Christmas, a lot of workshops are closed and because a lot of workshops are closed, a lot of reliable and less expensive car mechanics are not available. And because they're not available, it cost me RM150 to replace the stupid radiator fan motor that refused to cool my car down. Strangely enough, cooling a girl down can be expensive, too.
But it isn't always just the radiator that would burn a hole in a guy's pocket. You see, a car needs petrol as fuel. And like a car, girlfriends need their meals. Only difference is that a girlfriend's meal in a single day could exceed your car's petrol consumption in a week.
And sometimes, cars act up, and we, the owners wouldn't have a clue what went wrong. And much like a car, sometimes girlfriends act up for the dumbest of reasons; so dumb that sometimes, it's easier to figure out what's wrong with a car than what your girlfriend is upset about.
The similarity doesn't stop there. Both your car and your girlfriend work better with lubrication. You need to turn the ignition to get the car turned on and ride it; not very different from a girlfriend. A leakage is never good news with both subjects; only you're in deeper shit if it's the contraception.
Both are great things to have, but things get really fucked up when they start acting up. I have both a girlfriend and a car. They're both great to have around, and I appreciate them a hell lot. But when both your car and your girlfriend abruptly act up simultaneously, it makes your day twice as fucked up.
Sometimes I think that having a car isn't as frustrating as having a girlfriend. You never have to worry about a car being jealous. Cars are inanimate objects that we can replace without having a second thought. A car helps you to go meet up with your friends instead of telling you to choose between it and your close friends. In the case of a car, you're always the driver. And that makes a huge difference; being in control, rather than being controlled.
Sigh... Merry Christmas everyone.
